The Delhi Assembly election results will be announced today. The voting took place on Wednesday in a triangular contest between the BJP, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and Congress. The counting of votes will begin at 8 AM, starting with postal ballots. By 10 AM, a clear trend is expected to emerge.
A total of 19 counting centers have been set up, with 5,000 specially trained officials assigned for the process. All preparations for the vote counting have been completed, according to Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer.
In the 2020 elections, AAP secured a massive victory, winning 62 out of 70 seats, while the BJP managed to win only eight. In 2015, AAP won 67 seats, leaving the BJP with just three MLAs in the opposition.
Meanwhile, BJP camps are highly confident as exit polls have mostly been in their favor. However, AAP has completely rejected the exit poll predictions.
