Delhi schools bomb threat; Children evacuated

New Delhi: Bomb threats against three schools. After the incident, the schools called the bomb squad and started checking. Bomb threats were sent to Sanskrit School in Chanakyapuri, Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar and Delhi Public School in Dwarka. The mail says that several bombs have been placed in schools.

After receiving a threatening message in the e-mail, the police started a search. Due to the threat, the ongoing examination at Mother Mary School was suspended. Those in the school premises were asked to evacuate. In an e-mail sent to the parents, the Delhi Public School informed that as a precautionary measure, the students are being sent back as a precautionary measure.

Based on the information, the police team reached the schools and evacuated the people from the premises. Parents are reaching schools to take students home. Bomb squad and Delhi Fire Rescue are continuing the search. Nothing suspicious has been found yet.
