Delhi: Clash between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama. An encounter between security forces and terrorists takes place at Frazipora in Pulwama. The encounter started early this morning. Clashes continued in the afternoon. One terrorist was killed by security forces in the encounter.
Weapons were also seized from him. Efforts are on to identify the terrorist. A search is being conducted based on the suspicion that there are more terrorists in the area. The encounter first started at Arshipora in Pulwama. The encounter took place when the security forces arrived for inspection following intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area.
The police informed that the terrorists opened fire on the security forces during the inspection and immediately retaliated. More security forces have reached the spot.
