Delhi: Following the Pahalgam attack, six Pakistani nationals who were in Kerala have returned as per the instructions of the Union Home Ministry. Those who had arrived on visiting visas returned yesterday. The remaining 98 Pakistani nationals will remain in the state. They are in Kerala on long-term visas. Authorities have clarified that there is no obstacle for them to remain in the country.
Talking to the Chief Ministers, Amit Shah had directed to identify and deport Pakistani nationals as soon as possible. The instructions have been given to the Pakistani nationals to leave the country by Sunday. The Union Home Ministry has clarified that Pakistani nationals with medical visas can remain in the country for two more days.
