Former British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, along with his family, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sunak shared pictures on X, where he was seen with his wife Akshata Murty and children, Krishna and Anoushka, alongside the Indian Prime Minister. Rajya Sabha member Sudha Murty was also present during the meeting.
Prime Minister Modi and Rishi Sunak discussed various topics. Expressing his happiness, Sunak wrote on X that he was delighted to meet the Prime Minister. In response, Modi referred to Sunak as “India’s closest friend.”
“It was a great pleasure to meet the former British Prime Minister and his family. We discussed various important matters. Rishi Sunak is a true friend of India and is committed to strengthening India-UK relations,” Prime Minister Modi shared on X.
