Fraud Case: Ludhiana Court Issues Arrest Warrant Against Bollywood Actor Sonu Sood

Ludhiana: A Ludhiana court in Punjab has issued an arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood in connection with a fraud case. The warrant was issued by Ludhiana Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur. The case, filed by Ludhiana-based lawyer Rajesh Khanna, involves an alleged fraud of ₹10 lakh.

The primary accused, Mohit Shukla, is alleged to have deceived people into investing in the “Rijik Coin” scheme, promising high returns. Sonu Sood was summoned to provide a statement in court but failed to comply, leading to the issuance of the arrest warrant.

The Ludhiana court has directed an officer from Mumbai’s Oshiwara Police Station in Andheri West to arrest the actor. Sonu Sood is required to appear in court on February 10, when the case will be reviewed.

Interestingly, just days before the arrest warrant was issued, Sonu Sood met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and donated four ambulances to strengthen the state’s healthcare services. The actor also shared pictures from his meeting with Naidu on his Instagram account.
