The governor said that if corruption is found, the ministers will be locked up in jail. Vice Chancellors of universities are appointed by the Chancellor. Government interference is not accepted.
There is nothing wrong in hiring a good person if the government says so. The governor said that he will strongly oppose the efforts made by corrupt people to spread corruption in the universities. It is understood that corruption in universities is around 3500 crores. The governor also said that action will be taken against the ministers if they are involved in the corruption.
