India has responded to Pakistan’s allegations against it regarding the train derailment incident in Balochistan. India stated that instead of blaming others, Pakistan should introspect, adding that Pakistan is the epicenter of global terrorism. Pakistan had accused India of sponsoring terrorism in Balochistan.
India strongly rejected Pakistan’s baseless accusations, emphasizing that the entire world knows where the epicenter of global terrorism lies. The Ministry of External Affairs, in its statement, urged Pakistan to look within rather than shifting the responsibility for its internal problems and failures onto others. The Indian government’s response came after a senior Pakistani official accused India of sponsoring terrorism following the Baloch train derailment.
Pakistan alleged that the train attack was planned from abroad and that the insurgents involved had maintained contact with leaders based in Afghanistan throughout the train blockade.
When asked by journalists whether Pakistan had changed its stance of blaming India for the activities of the Baloch Liberation Army, a Pakistani spokesperson stated that accusations against India still stand. Pakistan continues to allege that India has a role in supporting terrorism against it.
