Israel Eliminates Hezbollah Operatives, Destroys Weapons and Tunnels in Mosque Raid

Israeli forces carried out a raid on a mosque in southern Lebanon, alleging that it was being used by Hezbollah militants for storing weapons and accessing underground tunnels. According to reports, paratroopers from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) neutralized all Hezbollah operatives present in the mosque.

The operation took place last night near a mosque where armed Hezbollah members were reportedly found. Upon discovering weapons in their possession, Israeli paratroopers launched surveillance and engaged in a firefight when militants opened fire. The IDF stated that the operation was in compliance with ceasefire agreements, which prohibit Hezbollah from carrying arms or assembling in southern Lebanon.

The mosque, allegedly used for militant operations, was destroyed, with the IDF recovering anti-tank rockets and defense systems from the site. Israel asserted that the mosque had been utilized as a militant stronghold for storing arms and planning attacks.

The IDF emphasized that the raid was a lawful response to ceasefire violations, including curfew breaches, by the militants.
