Kochi: The Kasaragod – Thiruvananthapuram high-speed rail project, also known as the Silver Line, proposed by the state’s Left government, is under the consideration of the Union Railway Ministry, said Railway Minister Piyush Goyal. He added that the ministry has sought some clarifications and is awaiting responses.
The minister was addressing the media after attending the Global Investors Summit Kerala 2025 in Kochi. He stated that the state government must resolve the concerns raised by the public regarding the project. Further discussions will take place once responses from the state government are received, he added.
