Srinagar: Security forces have eliminated one militant involved in firing at military vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter occurred in the Jogwan area of Akhnoor. Five soldiers sustained injuries during the incident, and the army is currently securing the area.
The militants opened fire around 7 a.m. today, reportedly firing about 20 rounds at military vehicles, including an ambulance. The militants also vandalized idols at the nearby Hasan temple. Additional troops have been deployed to the area.
