New Delhi. Nirmala Sitharaman has rejected the party’s request to be a candidate as she does not have the money to contest the Lok Sabha elections. BJP president JP Nadda had given an opportunity to contest from Tamil Nadu or Andhra Pradesh. After thinking about it,She replied that she would not contest.
She had trouble contesting in Andhra and Tamil Nadu. And there community and religion is a criterion for the possibility of success. Nirmala Sitharaman also said that she feels unable to do such things.
She clarified that the party has accepted her argument and she is thankful for that.
