Peace Will Be Established Worldwide: Prime Minister Netanyahu’s Declaration in Jerusalem

On the first anniversary of the war, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Jerusalem, the city both Israel and Palestine claim as their capital. Speaking at a war memorial event, Netanyahu emphasized the resilience of the Israeli people, saying, “One year ago, we rose like lions. Today, we remember those who sacrificed for the security of our nation.”

Netanyahu acknowledged the attacks from last October, where 250 citizens were abducted, 100 of whom remain hostages. Despite strong military responses, criticism has mounted both domestically and globally, as efforts to rescue the hostages have yet to succeed. Many accuse the government of failing to deliver on its promises to bring the captives home, even after a year of intense military operations.
