BJP Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai and other BJP leaders welcomed the Prime Minister. 2,000 police personnel from Nellai, Thenkashi, Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram, Madurai, Dindigal and Theni districts have been deployed in Kanyakumari in connection with the Prime Minister’s visit.
More than 150 surveillance cameras have been installed in the venue and surrounding areas where public meetings are attended by the Prime Minister. After attending the public meeting in Kanyakumari, the Prime Minister will return to Pathanamthitta.
