Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Visit Nigeria Today; Set to Attend G20 Summit in Brazil

Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will depart today for a visit to three countries. Nigeria, Brazil, and Guyana. He will depart at 1 PM IST and is scheduled to arrive in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, at 9 PM Nigerian time. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Nigeria in 17 years.

During his visit, discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation between India and Nigeria. Modi will also participate in the G20 summit in Brazil, where key issues such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict and tensions in Western Asia will be discussed. After Brazil, Modi will travel to Guyana, where he will attend the CARICOM-India summit, which brings together Caribbean nations.
