Palakkad: UDF candidate Rahul Mamkootatil has achieved a record-breaking victory in the Palakkad Assembly by-election, winning by a massive margin of 18,198 votes.
Hailing from Pathanamthitta, Rahul Mamkootatil now heads to the Kerala Legislative Assembly, surpassing the previous margin secured by Shafi Parambil in the constituency. The LDF trailed far behind, finishing in third place.
Ahead of the results, Rahul had expressed optimism about a win, though he refrained from speculating on the margin. His confident prediction has now been vindicated with this emphatic victory, solidifying the UDF’s position in Palakkad.
