Rameswaram cafe blast, two more accused arrested

Bengaluru: Main accused in Bengaluru Rameswaram cafe blast case arrested. The accused were taken into custody from West Bengal. Muzaffir Hussain Shasib and Abdul Mateen Ahmed Taha were arrested. Both are the main planners of the blast. The accused were staying in Kolkata under false names.

They were arrested by the NIA team from Kolkata this morning. Kerala Police also provided necessary assistance to NIA to nab the accused. NIA stated that there was active cooperation of Kerala and Karnataka police teams to nab the accused.

The accused were caught during the investigation based on the CCTV footage. The NIA team found during the investigation that Musavir Hussain was in Chennai in the month of January this year. Abdul Mateen is his close friend. He is the accused in the case of murder of Tamil Nadu Police Inspector K Wilson.

The investigating team has so far arrested four accused in the Rameswaram cafe blast case. The other arrested accused are Mas Munir and Musammil Farif. The investigation team had found that Mas Muneer, who was arrested first, was the suspect in the Shivamogga blast case and the Mangaluru graffiti case.
