The Supreme Court has also rejected the anticipatory bail of activist Rahna Fatima in a case filed by the cyber unit for displaying half-nakedness on social media along with minors. Earlier, the high court had also rejected Rahna’s anticipatory bail application.

Earlier, the High Court had denied anticipatory bail to Rehana Fatima in view of the prosecution’s contention that the offenses under the Pok‌mon Act would remain. Rahna then approached the Supreme Court.

The pox department was also charged. The case was registered on the basis of complaints received at Thiruvalla and Ernakulam South stations. The case was registered under Section 67 of the IT Act for disseminating sexual material and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act for child abuse.
