Delhi: The central government has increased the dearness allowance for employees and pensioners. The DA has been increased from 53% to 55%.
The increase has benefited 48.66 lakh central government employees and 66.55 lakh central service pensioners. The 2 percent DA increase will be implemented with retrospective effect from January 1, 2025.
