RSS takes a firm stance: No need for Ram temples everywhere

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said that Ram temple was a sentiment, but it should not be made an example of everywhere. In the past few days, he had made it clear that a Ram temple will be built in Bengal as well. There is no need to create a controversy similar to the Ram temple everywhere. Ram temple was a sentiment, but it should not be made an example of everywhere. Bhagwat said that there is no majority or minority in India, everyone is one.

The BJP announced the construction of a Ram temple in West Bengal the other day. The explanation is that the temple will be built in Berhampur as part of the first anniversary of the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The announcement was made by the BJP Murshidabad unit. Recently, Trinamool Congress leader Humayun Kabir had announced that a mosque would be built in Beldanga in Murshidabad district. There were also reports that the mosque would be built on the model of the Babri Masjid, which was demolished on December 6, 1992 in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Following the MLA’s announcement, the BJP district unit has come up with a new move.

Fashion designer and BJP MLA from Asansol South, Agnimitra Paul, responded that the Ram temple is not being built as a response to the mosque. Both the Babri Masjid and the Ram temple can be built. Agnimitra also alleged that the person who announced the construction of the Babri Masjid had said that he would massacre Hindus and drown them in the Bhagirathi river.
