The results of this year’s NEET examination have gone down in history. Shoaib Aftab, who came first in the All India Medical Entrance Examination, has scored full marks. Achieving 720 marks out of 720 is the first event in the history of the NEET exam.
Shoaib Aftab, 18, hails from Rourkela in Odisha. Shoaib Aftab also holds the record of being the first student from Odisha to appear first in the NEET examination. Shoaib Aftab wants to become a cardiac surgeon after completing his medical studies.
There are no doctors in his family. So Shoaib says he did not expect such a success. He expected the results to be in the first hundred or fifties when they came out. It was never expected to get 720 marks out of 720. There was a lot of pressure following the postponement of the exam. But Shoaib says he decided to set aside that time for further study.
