New Delhi. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Gyanesh Kumar may become the new election commissioners. The appointment is for two posts in the Central Election Commission. Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, Congress party leader in the Lok Sabha, said this.
Opposition disagreed against the central government’s decision. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary was also a member of the appointment committee chaired by the Prime Minister. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also attended the meeting.
Gyanesh Kumar is a Kerala Cadre Civil Service Officer. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu is a person from Punjab cadre.
