Empuraan will be re-edited, and a new version will be released. Swami Bhadrananda stated that producer Gokulam Gopalan had requested the re-editing of the film. He revealed this information in an interview with Karma News Chief Editor Vince Mathew, adding that he had discussed the matter with Gokulam Gopalan.
He further claimed that remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, as well as misleading depictions of the Gujarat riots, would be cut and discarded. He asserted that all anti-national elements in Empuraan would be removed, as per the instructions given by producer Gokulam Gopalan.
Swami Bhadrananda also alleged that, apart from the funds provided by the producer, secret funds, offers, and massive deals were given to the masterminds behind the film. He claimed that when Empuraan faced financial difficulties, Gokulam Gopalan was ultimately drawn into it by accepting financial commitments. He further stated that Mohanlal, Prithviraj, and certain individuals with hidden agendas were not lacking funds but that Gokulam Gopalan was deliberately dragged into this situation.
