Srinagar: Firing at an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists opened fire early this morning at a temporary army camp in the forested area of Kathua district. The incident occurred as the nation prepares for Republic Day celebrations.
The army stated that an extensive search operation is underway to locate the terrorists who fled after the attack. There was retaliatory firing against the terrorists.
The exchange of fire between the two sides lasted for about half an hour. No casualties have been reported on either side. It is believed that three terrorists were involved in the attack, and they are suspected to still be in the forest area.
