Three Killed in Mysuru as Speeding Car Collides with Two Vehicles, Including Malayali Student and Friend

3 people, including a Malayali student, died tragically in Mysuru after being hit by a speeding car. Shivani (21), daughter of Thrissur Kandasamkadav Mangattukara Ambachira Kootala Biju, who was traveling on a bike, Ullas (23), a native of Mysuru KR Pet, who was riding the bike, and an employee of an online food delivery agency, died.

The incident took place on Jayalakshmipuram JC Road on Saturday night. The speeding car hit the scooter of the food delivery worker and then hit the bike. Ullas died on the spot. Shivani was seriously injured and rushed to the hospital but could not be saved. The police took the driver of the car into custody. He was found to be drunk.

Shivani is a BCA final year student at Amrita College, Mysore. Cremation today at Kanchani Anakkad Crematorium. Shivani’s body was brought home after post-mortem at Apollo Hospital. The funeral will be held on Tuesday. Mother: Savita. Siblings: Ashwati and Arjun.
