Today the Union Cabinet meeting has started at the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many important decisions are likely to be sealed in this meeting. Earlier, on June 24, the Union Cabinet meeting approved the establishment of the Rs 15,000 crore Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development Fund (AHIDF).

After the Cabinet meeting, Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space Jitendra Singh had said that a new institute has been formed as an Indian National Center for Space, Promotion and Authorization, through means of encouraging policies in a favorable regulatory situation. Interest waiver under Mudra loan scheme: 9 crore 37 lakh people who take Shishu Mudra loan under the Mudra loan scheme will get two percent rebate in interest. Before handcart and street vendors or small shopkeepers used to take money from moneylenders before Mudra Yojana, they had to pay a lot of interest. Now they get money from banks. They will now get a 2% discount. There is a plan to benefit the younger man. The scheme will come into effect from 1 June 2020 and will run till 31 May 2021. 1540 crores will be spent for this year.
