Union Minister Amit Shah to Visit Prayagraj Today, to Take a Holy Dip at Triveni Sangam

Prayagraj: Union Minister Amit Shah is visiting Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh to participate in the world’s largest spiritual gathering, the Mahakumbha Mela. He will take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers, and later meet the monks.

According to a statement issued by the Mahakumbh Media Centre, Shah will reach Prayagraj at 11:25 am. After taking holy dip, he will visit the Bade Hanuman Ji temple and the Abhayavatam. After that, Amit Shah will also visit Juna Akhara, where he will meet Acharya Mahamandaleshwar and other saints of the Akhara and have lunch with them. His schedule also includes visits to the ashram of Guru Sharananand Ji, where he will meet Guru Sharananand Ji and Govind Giri Ji Maharaj and conclude his visit with meetings with Shankaracharyas of Sringeri, Puri and Dwarka. He will then leave Prayagraj for Delhi in the evening.
