Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed a pooja at the Ayodhya Ram Temple, stating that the temple represents the first land of India’s culture.
After offering special prayers, he spent a considerable time at the temple before leaving. The Chief Minister also attended the literary and cultural festival held at the Ram Temple.
In Bahraich, Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a tehsil building constructed at a cost of ₹84.5 crores. Criticizing previous governments, he accused them of being corrupt and assured that his administration is committed to resolving public issues and ensuring good governance.
He also visited the Pateshwari Devi Temple in Balrampur, where he offered prayers and inspected the Gaushala (cow shelter), personally feeding the cows. Ahead of the upcoming Chaitra Navratri, which begins on March 30, Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the festival and discussed security arrangements with district officials.
