Bengaluru: Youth brutally beaten up for calling Jai Shri Ram. The incident took place in Bengaluru’s Chickabettahalli. There are also complaints that the youth were forced to say Allahu Akbar.
The video of the incident came out. Binayak, D. Pawan Kumar and Rahul, who were traveling in their car with saffron flag on the occasion of Ram Navami, were beaten up. Hearing them chanting Jai Shri Ram, Muslim youths arrived on two bikes and stopped the car.
In the video, one of the youths is seen saying that Jai Shri Ram should not be say, but Allah Akbar should be say. They told the youth in the car not to shout Jai Shri Ram slogans. When the youths questioned this, the gang dragged them out of the car and beat them up.
A young man was hit on the head and another young man was injured in the face of the gang. It is reported that a case has been registered against five people and three of them have been arrested.
