Thiruvananthapuram: Ajit Kolassery, Chief Executive Officer of Norka Roots, said that information has been received that 258 Malayalis are stranded in Jammu and Kashmir, where a terrorist attack took place. 262 people in 28 groups have registered their information at the Norka Help Desk. Of these, four have returned home. Efforts are ongoing to bring the rest back home, said Ajit Kolassery.
Tirurangadi MLA K.P.A. Majeed, Neyyattinkara MLA K. Ansalan, Kollam MLA M. Mukesh, Kalpetta MLA T. Siddique and 3 High Court judges are among the Malayalis stranded in Kashmir. Judges Anil K. Narendran, P.G. Ajith Kumar and Justice G. Girish are stranded. Norka Roots informed that all are safe.
