New Delhi : After the Supreme Court’s warning, SBI handed over all the information related to the election bond to the Election Commission. The serial numbers of the bonds and the unique numbers of each bond are given.
The Supreme Court had said that the information submitted by SBI earlier was not complete. The instructions were to hand over the information before five o’clock in the evening on Thursday. The Supreme Court also directed that this information should be published on the Election Commission website.
The court directed to hand over the full information including the names of those who bought the bonds and those who received them, the date, how much rupees, etc. But the SBI bond numbers were not given to the Election Commission.
