Blade and worms found in hostel food at Osmania University, Hyderabad; students protest.
Following this, students blocked the university’s main road in protest.
The contaminated food was served yesterday at Godavari Hostel, where students discovered worms and a blade in their meal. Students have been complaining for a while that the quality of hostel food has been extremely poor. They also alleged that pieces of glass had been found in the food earlier.
As part of their protest, students brought the food plates containing the worms and blade onto the road.
