ISRO brings pride to India once again in space exploration, De-docking experiment successful

ISRO has once again brought pride to India by successfully completing the De-Docking experiment, a continuation of the SPADEX (Space Docking Experiment) mission, which involves docking and later separating satellites in space. With this achievement, India has further strengthened its position in the global space sector.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh congratulated ISRO on this success, calling it a significant step toward India’s future space ambitions. He stated that the De-Docking experiment would provide a strong foundation for upcoming projects such as India’s space station, Chandrayaan-4, and Gaganyaan.

As part of the De-Docking process, the Chaser and Target satellites were successfully separated in space. The SPADEX mission was launched on December 30, using the PSLV-C60 rocket, which carried two identical satellites into space. In January, ISRO had already achieved success in docking these satellites after launching them separately. Now, with the successful demonstration of De-Docking technology, ISRO has once again proven its capabilities in space exploration.
