Bomb threat on Chennai-Mumbai IndiGo flight. Indigo 6E 5314 was bombed. Following this, the plane was urgently landed at the Mumbai airport. Upon landing in Mumbai, it is learned that the crew followed protocol and took the aircraft to an isolation bay as per security agency guidelines.
All passengers got off the plane safely. The aircraft is currently under inspection. . No hazardous materials have been found in the tests so far. IndiGo representatives informed that the aircraft will be placed back in the terminal area after completion of all security checks. Fake bomb threats are common at Mumbai airport.
