Bhimtal: A tragic accident in Uttarakhand claimed the lives of four people when a bus plunged into a 1,500-foot-deep gorge near Bhimtal. The bus, traveling from Almora to Haldwani, was carrying 28 passengers.
Twenty-four people sustained injuries, with several in critical condition. Rescue operations were conducted by police, SDRF teams, and fire department personnel.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his condolences over the incident and assured all necessary assistance to the victims and their families.
