The number of infected people has risen to 3,32,424 due to the fast-growing cases of Coronavirus in the country. In the last 24 hours, 11,502 new cases have been reported, while 325 people have died. The total death toll has reached beyond nine and a half thousand.
According to the latest data by the Ministry of Health on Monday morning, there are 153106 active cases of corona in the country. 169798 patients have recovered and gone home. 9520 people have died. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has reported that 1,15,519 people have been tested for the coronavirus in the past one day.
Talking about the coronavirus havoc in different states of the country, the highest number of cases have been reported in Maharashtra. The total number of cases in the state had crossed one lakh days before, now it has increased to 1,07,958. Of this, 53,030 are active cases, while 50,978 people have been cured. The death toll in Maharashtra has increased to 3,950.

In the national capital, the number of patients infected with corona has reached 41182. 1,327 people have died. At the same time, the total number of corona patients in Tamil Nadu has increased to 44661, of which 19679 are active cases and 24547 people have been cured. So far 435 people have died due to infection.
India in third place in rising cases
After America and Brazil, India is the third country where more than 10 thousand cases are coming daily. Eleven and a half thousand cases were registered on Monday. If you look at the statistics of the Ministry of Health, this month, about ten thousand cases occurred in India. At the same time, the figure stood at 22322 in the US and 25800 in Brazil. The number of new cases is increasing day by day.
