Delhi’s Air Pollution Levels Expected to Worsen in Coming Days

New Delhi: Air pollution levels in Delhi are expected to worsen in the coming days, according to recent reports. This warning comes just ahead of Diwali celebrations. Currently, the air quality index (AQI) has slightly improved, standing at 272, but it is projected to exceed 300 in the coming days.

The increase in pollution has already led to a 15% rise in hospital admissions due to respiratory issues. Meanwhile, Delhi BJP president, who recently protested against the Delhi government by immersing himself in the Yamuna, has sought medical treatment after experiencing skin irritation and breathing difficulties.
