Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s brother’s wife and JMM MLA Sita Murmu Soren has joined the BJP. Seetha Soren is the wife of Hemant Soren’s elder brother, Durga Soren.
Sita had given a letter to the party president Shibu Soren stating that she was resigning from the party. Later he reached the BJP headquarters and accepted the party membership.
Sita is an MLA from Jama constituency. It is reported that the BJP will contest as a candidate in the Lok Sabha elections.
