Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Be the Chief Guest on Mauritius National Day

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at Mauritius’ 57th National Day celebrations. Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth made the announcement.

Modi will visit Port Louis on March 10, 11, and 12, Jugnauth stated, adding that his visit is a testament to the strong and enduring ties between India and Mauritius.

“I am delighted to inform the House that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accepted my invitation to be the distinguished guest at our National Day celebrations.

Despite his extremely busy schedule and recent visits to Paris and the United States, it is a great honor for our nation to host such a prominent personality,” Jugnauth said.
