Prime Minister will arrive in Kerala today, to lead roadshow in Palakkad

Palakkad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kerala again today just after the election date. Prime Minister will reach Palakkad for election campaign. Prime Minister’s first road show in Kerala in connection with the election campaign is taking place today. Palakkad is a class A constituency of BJP.

C Krishnakumar is the candidate here. Candidates from Malappuram and Ponnani constituencies will also march in the road show along with the Prime Minister. He will reach Palakkad Mercy College grounds from Coimbatore at 9.30 am and reach Anchuvilaku by road from there to participate in the road show.

Meanwhile, BJP state president K Surendran informed that the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit have been completed. He stated this while speaking at a press conference organized by Palakkad.

The Prime Minister will be received at the Mercy College ground led by BJP State President K Surendran, along with party leaders, social and organizational leaders and religious leaders. Officials informed that more than half a lakh people will come to see the Prime Minister’s road show.

State General Secretary C Krishnakumar is the NDA candidate for Palakkad Lok Sabha constituency. After the end of the road show at the headpost office premises, the Prime Minister will drive from there via Moyan School Junction, Town Railway Overpass, Shakuntala Junction, BEM School Junction and KSRTC to Mercy College Grounds.

Security measures have been completed as part of the Prime Minister’s road show. Security checks have been started in and around the city. Yesterday, helicopters landed at Mercy College grounds and conducted an inspection. Security has been ensured by placing barricades on the side of the road from Mercy College to Kotamaidanam. Did a trial run today.
