Congress national spokesperson and film star Khushboo has resigned from the party. According to reports, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has tendered her resignation. In her resignation letter to Sonia Gandhi, Kushboo said that some forces at the highest levels of the party, which have no connection with the people and have no sense of reality, are trying to suppress those who are sincere. The incident took place after Kushboo arrived in Delhi to meet BJP national leaders.
There are indications that three prominent Tamil Nadu leaders, including Khushboo, will join the BJP today in the presence of BJP national president JP Nadda. Khushboo entered politics through the DMK. The actor joined the Congress in 2014. Following this, he was appointed national spokesperson but reportedly had differences of opinion with the state Congress leadership.
According to reports, the actor will arrive in Delhi after 12.30 pm on Monday to join the BJP. Meanwhile, Kushboo had expressed dissatisfaction with the Congress leadership for not giving him a seat in the Lok Sabha elections. Following this, he tweeted in support of the new national education policy released by the central government and reports spread that the actor was going to the BJP.
