Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today inaugurate three schemes for farmers in Gujarat, including the ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’, through video conferencing. The Gujarat government under Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has recently announced the Kisan Suryodaya project for irrigation and daytime power supply. Under this scheme, farmers will get electricity from 5 am to 9 pm.PM Modi's important meeting with CM of 7 states today

The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 3,500 crore to set up transmission infrastructure under the scheme by 2023. In addition, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Pediatric Heart Hospital affiliated to the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research and the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, a mobile application for telecardiology.

The UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology is being expanded at a cost of Rs 470 crore. The institute will become the largest single super-specialty cardiac teaching institute in the country and the largest single super-specialty cardiac hospital in the world. The number of beds will increase from 450 to 1251 after the completion of the expansion project.
